Founded in 2025, Paragon Training Co. (PTC) was built with a clear mission: to provide cutting-edge, real-world training to law enforcement  and security professionals across New England. PTC is a veteran- and law enforcement-owned professional training company, offering a wide range of classroom and scenario-based courses rooted in legal compliance, tactical relevance, and instructional excellence. Our Founder

Paragon Training Co. was founded by by Detective Ryan LaRose, a career law enforcement officer and military veteran committed to raising the standard of public safety training. Ryan began his service in 2016 with the U.S. Army National Guard as a Military Police Officer, where he developed a passion for leadership and instruction.

He went on to serve with multiple Maine police departments, eventually earning recognition for his investigative excellence and becoming one of the state’s youngest detectives at the age of 24. He also served in the U.S. Air Force as a Security Forces Lead Trainer and joined the Southern Maine Special Response Team as a SWAT operator.

Throughout his career, Ryan has earned numerous instructor-level certifications and built a reputation for professional excellence. He launched Paragon Training Co. to provide affordable, relevant, and high-impact training to law enforcement professionals at every stage of their careers.
